We are busy preparing for the trip of our life this week. Later next week, we will board a plane to Africa to bring our new children home. We have some wonderful news that God has brought us a helper for this trip. Her name is Courtney and she came to us through word-of-mouth, but really, it was just God. She is 28, single and has a huge heart for kids and especially orphans. She will be travelling with us and staying with us in Ethiopia to help us care for the kids! What an answer to prayer she is; honestly, a prayer that I did not have the faith to believe God would answer. He truly is supplying all our need.
Note: Oliver wants you to know that he intends to stop wearing pink when he comes home to us.

We'll be praying for safe travels for you all. Send me an email and let us know if you want a meal when you get back! We'd love to do something to help make the transition easier.
Hey, I have several pink shirts and even some pink pants. Nothing wrong with that!!! Or maybe it's just a Southern thing. Can't wait to meet them soon!
Praise the Lord for his provision! We are praying for you during your preparations, travel and your return as all 8 of you adjust. Love you!
That is great news! Your kids are precious and I can't wait to see them with their new family. I will be praying for a safe trip and for everyone's adjustment and bonding. Hopefully I won't be too far behind you.
I'm thankful that Oliver won't be wearing pink because that will make it easier for me to tell him and Olivia apart. Can't wait to meet them!
I wish, wish, wish I could go with you to. We'll be lifting you up as you meet your children - the ones God called Browns before the beginning of time!
